"In an unnamed Canadian city, lesbians have been disappearing at an alarming rate. The local paper decries a ?critical lesbian shortage,? and rumors about a pack of particularly attractive vampires on the loose?in the daytime!?are rampant. That?s when a pair of concerned priests decide to seek help from none other than the famed Son of God Himself, who just happens to be in town for the Second Coming.
After fighting off a pack of the vamps himself, Jesus takes it upon himself to rid the city of the unholy ones. He learns that a local mad scientist, Dr. Pretorious has been grafting the skin of lesbians onto vampires, allowing them to walk unharmed in the sunlight. The reason for these ?ladies of Sapphos?? The Church doesn?t approve of their controversial lifestyle, so hence they won?t be mourned and the God-fearing law enforcement won?t put up too hard of a fight looking for them.
Along with His perky and beautiful sidekick, Mary Magnum, Jesus enlists the aid of a Mexican wrestler named El Santos and vows to kick the bloody-mouthed ones back to where they belong.
It is an epic quest, fraught with illicit lesbo love, outrageous kung-fu fight scenes, and yes, musical numbers, complete with brightly dressed go-go girls. Considering that the production had the budget of an upper echelon student film (which still isn?t much), director Lee Gordon Demarbe does all he can with what he has. In response to Jesus?s plea for advice from God, the Father tells his only boy, typically, to consult his mother. The next thing you know, our holy protagonist is pouring out all his woes to a light-up plastic statue of the Virgin Mary. Hilarious stuff. Some of the fight scenes, consisting of martial arts so bad (in a good way) they oughta be a sin, are sidesplitting. The soundtrack kicks ass, too."
the acting is bad, the filming is bad, the actors are bad except for Maria Moulton as Mary Magnum and the head lesbian vampire, but if you can look past that, it's a good movie.

Nope, never seen it! Sounds like one I am REALLY missing too! LOL!!!
I really haven't seen too many films as of late. No time. I did just buy CAPTAIN KRONOS: VAMPIRE HUNTER and FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL on DVD last night though!!! For those not familiar, they are both GREAT Hammer Horror films from the final days of Hammer. Run out to Wal-Mart and hit the cheapy bin! For some odd reason they were released Tuesday, but Wal-Mart stuck them into the cheapy bin right away and priced them at $5.88!!! Deal of the year so far!!!
